<p>전미소매협회에 따르면 이달 1~3일까지 7831명의 성인들을 대상으로 인터넷조사한 결과 이미 68%의 쇼핑객이 선물을 구매하기 시작하였다. 그럼에도 추수감사절부터 사이버먼데이(미 추수감사절 연휴 후 첫 월요일까지) 200만명에 가까운 노인들이 더 쇼핑할 것으로 전망한다고 협회는 전했다.</p>
