‘소액결제 현금화 사업은 불법이다. 정보통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스사용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용하도록 한 후 이용자가 구매·사용한 재화등을 할인해 매입하는 행위에 ‘1년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있다.

<p>김00씨는 지난해 9월 11일 통영 한 거리에서 40대 피해자가 작업대출을 위해 A씨의 동생에게 소액결제를 하게 하는 등 약 880만 원에 이르는 빚을 발생시키자 A씨와 함께 금액을 받기 위해 주먹 등으로 수차례 폭행한 혐의 등으로 기소됐다.</p>
